Okay, this brief discussion on getting “ripped and shredded quickly,” is not going to be a brief “infomercial” for some sort of miracle machine or dietary supplement. It is going to tell you the common sense approach to getting defined muscles and a leaner mass. Whether you are interested in doing some fitness modeling or competing in a bodybuilding show, or just looking great at the beach, the following tips are THE ones to follow if you hope to get yourself looking great quickly:

Sleep – you may not believe that sleeping is going to help you get ripped or shredded, but it is a basic fact of human biology that cells can only do their work if the body is properly fed, watered and rested. Without at least six to eight hours of high-quality sleep each night your body’s cells are not going to be able to make the repairs needed to grow muscle. Remember that the terms “ripped” and “shredded” come from the fact that you are actually working muscle fibers that must repair afterward. This is why they bulk up, but they won’t do so at a good and fast pace if your body is exhausted from a lack of sleep;

Eat – again, this may seem like a “duh” moment, but you would be surprised at how many people think that they can only get a ripped set of abs if they have zero body fat, and then they go about trying to get to zero fat by starving themselves! If you ask anyone doing fitness modeling about their daily diet they would surprise you. This is because those folks eat all of the time, it is just that they eat all of the best “macro nutrients” necessary for good muscle development. The best way to eat is fifty percent of calories from high quality carbohydrates, thirty-five percent from good proteins, and ten percent from the essential fats such as amino acids, etc;

Drink – the body has to cleanse itself properly to make its cells work at the top levels possible. To do so means getting rid of any toxins stored in places like the liver and the kidneys. The only way to do this is to eat right, rest, get exercise and drink a lot of fluids. If you are preparing for a bodybuilding show, fitness modeling, or the summer beach season, you will want to drink at least six to eight glasses of water each day to keep yourself pure, clean and awesome looking!
