Eat More Often
Eat no less than 2 hours and no more than 4 hours apart

When it comes to your weight loss and fitness goals, cardio and exercise is crucial. But what is more important than that to your health and fitness? Eating properly! Your diet directly affects your success or failure. Not only is it about eating the proper amount of nutrients and calories, it is also about the frequency of your meals. It is critical to your weight loss goals for you to eat every 2-4 hours each day. The more frequent you eat your meals, the more calories and fat you will burn! If you do not eat every 2-4 hours or if you eat more often than that, you will see that you are gaining much more weight. The key to your weight loss is what you eat. Not only is it what you eat, it’s how often you eat it. When you eat every 2-4 hours you are building up your metabolism and making it faster. A fast metabolism means faster weight loss.
You might be thinking to yourself, “how does eating more cause you to lose more?” The answer is very simple; it speeds up your metabolism. The more frequent you eat your meals the faster your metabolism will become. Now it is imperative that you do not confuse eating more frequently with eating more in calories. You still need to calculate out how many calories per meal you should be consuming. These meals that you should be eating every 2-4 hours are meals that are small in portions. The portions you should be consuming every 2-4 hours should be no larger than your fist. By using your fist as a guideline it is much easier for you to tell just how much you are eating as opposed to how much you SHOULD be eating. When you are on a health and fitness regimen you now have limited your caloric intake and, if not consumed properly, you will find that it is increasingly hard to stay on track with your diet and to avoid cheating yourself. When your calories are spaced out in small meals every 2-4 hours you will feel fuller and will not be as inclined to eat outside the boundaries you have set for yourself within your regimen.
What are the benefits of a fast metabolism? There are many benefits to having a fast metabolism! Perhaps the most important benefit of them all is that the faster your metabolism is the faster your body can burn calories and fat from your body. With that being said, the slower your metabolism is the less fat your body will be able to burn. Gaining a fast metabolism is actually quite simple. You have to burn more calories than you consume. For instance, if you are sitting on a couch all day long, with no exercise, and have just been eating and eating your metabolism is very slow and will continue to be. It is best if you think of your metabolism as a muscle; the more you work the muscle the stronger it becomes. The longer you work your metabolism the faster it will be! You cannot have a fast metabolism and eat more calories than you burn. A common misconception when it comes to metabolism is that you are either born with a fast or slow metabolism. This is untrue. A metabolism is something that everyone is born with! It all comes down to how active you are. If you are active throughout the day and eat properly more frequently, your metabolism will be fast!
When you are trying to speed up your metabolism it is a necessity that you eat every 2-4 hours. You must be sure that you are eating no less than 2 hours, and no more than 4 hours in between each meal. If you eat less than 2 hours in between, you are not giving your body the necessary time it needs to burn the calories you consumed less than 2 hours prior. This will result in overeating and will be added to the fat that is stored in your body. If you are eating farther than 4 hours apart between meals you are giving your body too much time in between meals and your metabolism will slow down. Your metabolism will then become programmed into thinking that since meals are so few and far between that it needs to store it so your body can use it for sustenance. This also results in the fat and calories being added to your already growing fat storage. If you eat less than 2 hours or more than 4 hours apart, everything that you consume will go straight to your fat storage!
It is a common belief that if you eat once per day you will lose weight. It is quite the contrary in fact. If you eat once per day, your body will become accustomed to your eating habits and store every ounce of fat and calories that meal contained. If your body believes that meals aren’t as frequent as they should be, it will store everything so that your body can survive until its next meal. Now, if you eat less than 2 hours apart, you are not speeding up your metabolism, you are overeating. Overeating will overload your already overworked body and that of which, your body cannot break down and burn, will now be stored. When your body is overworked or overwhelmed due to the amount of food you are consuming and how often you are eating, it does not have time to burn everything efficiently. This results in fat being stored to your body. It is very important to your weight loss that you eat meals that are no less than 2 hours and no more than 4 hours apart. This very short window can very well make or break you! Eating more frequently speeds up your metabolism; speeding up your metabolism results in more fat being burned and more weight being lost.
